Ruhaanii Milk Producer Company Limited (MPCL) has been operationalized on 12th Feb 2017 with an objective of providing market for selling milk round the year with a competitive price to rural milk producers and enhancing the milk supply and quality.
Ruhaanii MPCL has established institutional structures that are designed keeping at the helm the benefit to Milk Producers at large which supports to strengthen their business, enhances productivity, assures quality and facilitates to use of information for commercial decision making.
With an organized and structured setup, each rural milk producer associated with Ruhaanii MPCL is and will enjoy the right to get his/her milk tested through appropriate testing and weighing equipment that is accurate and would be paid either through a group’s bank account (operated by authorized nominees) or, in the alternative, enjoy the option of obtaining payment directly to his/her individual account.
Ruhaanii MPCL is also taking up strong initiatives of converting existing Pourers into Members who will also be the shareholder. Also conducting various village level meeting to make the pourers understand long-term benefits of Membership. Since its inception Ruhaanii MPCL has enrolled more than 11000 Members. Currently, about 50,000 liters of milk is procured from 375 Milk Pooling Points connected to 1 BMC & 3 MCC.
Objective:
- To carry on the business of pooling, purchasing, processing of milk supplied by the Members, marketing of the same and to deal in allied activities.
- To provide or arrange to provide technical and managerial services in the areas of breeding, feed/ fodder, veterinary services to increase milk production for the benefit of the Members.
- To provide education, training and other activities to promote mutual assistance amongst the members.
- To arrange to procure quality milk from the Members that meets the standards laid down by the Company and the statutory authorities.
